    Can I carbonate 2 gal of beer in a 5 gal corny?

    UPDATE! after learning how to take apart the corny keg, clean and sanitize it, I got the 2 gal of ipa in the keg late last night. I put 12 psi in it and set it aside. the only thing I almost forgot was to purge the oxygen but alas, I got. wish me luck and thanks to all who posted. I love this site.

    I figure I will set the tank to 30-40 psi, purge out the oxygen, and then force carbonate it. any other recomendations?

    First ever post, so excuse my newbness. Is there a way to carbonate 2 gal of beer in a 5 gal corny keg?
