    Re-circulating Cleaning system build

I'm interested in building a recirculating cleaning system simply to save time on cleaning. But I'm having some trouble figuring out proper flow rates and what size pump I need since I will be jumping all my taps together. Do any of you have a formula or chart to reference?

    Magic Chef 7.2 died

I bypassed the thermostat and over load protector and plugged it in. On startup it pulled 11.2 then stepped down to 9.6, 5.3, 1.5 then held steady at 0.9 amps and it sounded like it should make a errrr sound and vibrating . LMA is 14.2 for this unit. I unplugged to repeat the test and this...

    Magic Chef 7.2 died

that is on my list of things to try tonight, as well completely bypassing the original thermostat (I wired a new one in series which would cut power tot he entire unit when the set point was hit) Last night I was able to do a resistance test on the compressor (it passed) and a Capacitor test...

    Magic Chef 7.2 died

You are all amazing for tracking this information down for me! Thank you all so much! I want to make sure i'm understanding this correctly. The http://www.homedepot.com/p/SUPCO-120...w&gclsrc=aw.ds will replace both the relay and the capacitor. I don't need to order a separate relay in...

    Magic Chef 7.2 died

Alright. I have pulled everything apart. The relay doesn't make any noise when I shake it but when I take a multi-meter to it it maxes out at 5.4 ohms, which is half of what the wiki how article says it would be. Now this isn't a 3 pronged relay, it is only 2. Coming off the 3rd prong from...

I am not 100% it starts. If I let it run the compressor will get very hot so I assumed that meant it was running, am I wrong?

    Magic Chef 7.2 died

Long story short... I shut down my keezer to replace a faulty regulator and do some general maintenance, plugged it back in and nothing.. I can hear the compressor start up and the idiot lights turn on but it just sits at room temp laughing at me. Now, from what I can tell the brand in this...

    Kegerator restoration...new to this...

Triple that! do nothing until you plug it in and make sure it gets cold. I would also leave it plugged in while you do your research, this will put it though the paces for a few days at the very least.

    Three product Nitrogen regulator?

I don't see why it wouldn't. I assume you are going to have a primary going to this secondary.

    Macro Matic secondary bracket

yeah, that's the idea im playing with right now. Love these new regulators, built like a tank, but damn they are big in my tiny keezer.. perhaps an excuse to size the keezer to the regulators

    Beer line cleaning question

There are a lot of factors to look at here so there isn't an across the board answer. But here is what I do, I will clean mine every keg or once every two months. I also use this time to check O rings, make sure everything is tight and where it should be. I soak all my quick disconnects and...

What is the best secondary regulator for the money

Let me tell you... I was struggling with this very question just last week. You want to spend the money because you will only have to do it once. I've gone through a few of the cheaper ones usually because the seals fail (simple rebuild fix) but when you dump 20 pounds of C02 through them...

    Macro Matic secondary bracket

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but I'll give it a shot. I recently picked up a set of premium secondary regs (yesterday,) which I already love but space is luxury I don't have in my keezer.. I called MM and they only have the one bracket style so I was wondering if any of...

Secondary regulator - help on finding best price

they arrived last night and they are AWESOME! I can't wait to tinker around this weekend and get them installed. Only thing I think will be an issue is finding a bracket which is a little more low profile, it would be nice if I can get them sit right on the collar vs. floating out.. space is...
