    Grind = Crazy Efficiency

    I know on my mill the gap is tight enough that 2 pieces of grain could not occupy the same space and the same time and be milled, this will maximize the efficiency but increase the mill time. If the mill gap is so large that 2 or 3 previously milled kernels could fit in the gap than yes, double...

    Grind = Crazy Efficiency

    I fail to see how double grinding your malts would do anything for efficiency, if the grain is strong enough to move the mill wheels out of alignment and not grid to the gap setting there is something very wrong with that mill, unless on the second run the gap is being adjusted to something far...

    Panel Mount Thermometer / temp display

    pretty much all they are with the added bonus of an alarm if you want it. You could not wire that up and simply use it as a read out. Im using them to replace the inkbirds I bough since they have a hard wired alarm which you can't turn off above 200F

    Mash Tun Upgrade -- SSbrewtech vs. Stout Tanks

    I really liked the original hop block to the new one.. I thinking of tossing it and getting on of the hop stopper nets they have over at electricbrewery.com Are you currently using the SS? I meant dead space as in whats left in the bottom of the tun from what the pickup tube can't pick up. I...

    Mash Tun Upgrade -- SSbrewtech vs. Stout Tanks

    I prefer them because they will naturally drain and pull, there is zero loss... no dead space. I don't have to deal with dip tubes or anything like that and cleaning appears to be much easier. I use a Gen 1 Blichmann as my BK and I HATE the diptube with hop blocker assembly. You have to line...

    Mash Tun Upgrade -- SSbrewtech vs. Stout Tanks

    Im assuming you say it isn't needed because of the insulation? While I agree with that, I'm looking for something with a center bottom drain.

    Will this work? heatsink for 40amp SSR

    we'll see how deep I dive into this, perhaps i'll be the one to test if there is a temp difference between the two. I would assume not as well but who knows.

    Will this work? heatsink for 40amp SSR

    im going to give it a shot and see what happens. I guess I was a little reserved as most of the panel pictures i've seen here either use the stock ones that come with it or the "oversized" one kal put out. I didn't know if it was a lack of experimentation from the community and simply went...

    Virginia The Electric Brewery 240v 50A Controller

    the element selector switch would suggest it isn't designed as a back to back setup as both elements could not fire at the same time. I could be mistaken though

    Will this work? heatsink for 40amp SSR

    oops... well i guess im using the 25s until they burn up.. sigh. unless the consensus is to purchase the 40s now. im absolutely going to mount the heatsink outside of the enclosure.

    Will this work? heatsink for 40amp SSR

    I'm in the sourcing phase of converting from propane to electric. I'm building a 50amp HERMS system using MRG 40amp SSR's, MRG-1 D4825. I happened upon several Foxconn 344498-001 rev B heatsinks, looks like this. It's approximately 3x3.5x2.5. My question is, will these provide the necessary...
