    Chocolate bock first brew.

    An update on my first beers life cycle. Has now after thirteen days been moved to secondary. I racked it to add cocoa nibs soaked in vodka. Hopefully it turns out well. I'm guessing the added cocoa gave the yeast enough sugar to start up fermentation?

    Ground spices in secondary fermenter

    I can't get my hands on cocoa nips right now and I need to move my Bock to secondary fermenter. I have chocolate spices but it is grounded very finely. Could I add some of this into my secondary fermenter to get the same desired affects? Maybe mix it with vodka?
