I love this idea. It's cool that in the video he has the pump threaded directly into the ball valve on the kettle. No issues with priming there. His control "tackle" box is awesome too. 150$+ is a lot for me to spend on one piece of gear, I have built my entire brew setup for around that much...

I know what your saying but there has to be a company that makes a small brass pump that has an input shaft that could be coupled with a inexpensive electric motor.

Not a weird as Rocky Mountain oysters but my friend, did a s'more stout with marshmallows in the boil, and graham crackers in the secondary. It was outstanding. Another friend used quinoa as a base grain for a sweet potato ale. It was different, needed tweaking but it had potential.

My beers are usually between 20-30$ for a 5 gal A/G batch. I find that it's not the grain that runs up the bill, for me it's the extra hop additions, oak coils, specialty yeast. I know these aren't required for all of my brews but when I want to get a little wild it hits my wallet first.
