Still alive - just tackling a HUGE DIY

I have endless respect man, this is amazing. How much do you think you have saved to this point DIYing it, when all is said and done how much do you expect to save? My guess, seeing all of those curved walls that what you saved in framing and drywall make the savings worth all the effort.

Boy do I ever love Lagunitas...

If you can get lucky 13 it's my favorite from them. Little sumpin is a staple in my beer diet too.

    #2 HDPE false bottom idea.

Great idea on the layout. Do you have any pics?

    #2 HDPE false bottom idea.

Oh and it would be heavy enough to stay down at the bottom and not float like other plastic false bottoms.

    #2 HDPE false bottom idea.

I'm using a hoff-Stevens style keg, with a bottom drain, as my MT in my rims setup. There is not a whole lot of cheep options for hinged SS false bottoms big enough to fit in the bottom. I came across a thread of a guy who made a false bottom for a straight side keggle with a 5 gallon bucket...

    Mini-Mini Keg and Keg Pump

I found this thread: http://forum.northernbrewer.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=90461 and I was thinking about fitting the top bung of the non Heineken/Newcastle keg with a bung and presta valve as he did for head pressure, but use the tap in the bottom that comes with that keg. Kind of combining both...

    Who owns spanish peaks brewing?

Oh and by the way I bought one of each the price was too good, the peach is so sweet it makes my teeth hurt. Yuck clearly beer for folks who don't like the taste of beer, or teeth without fillings.

    Who owns spanish peaks brewing?

I was in my local store that is just starting to carry craft beers, among all the other bottles that were 7-8$ I saw Spanish peaks for 2.29$. My beer nerd antenna went up, maybe it's a session beer, maybe low abv less ingredients lesser price. No both the peach ale and IPA are 7%. So I put it in...

    Emerging microbrewery trend

OP, if a child is a music prodigy is the music they make by nature of their age any less profound? If there parent bought them their instruments does it make their music any less credible? The answer is no. I'm one of those people that nothing comes easy to. Just about everything I have, i have...

    Four Kegs One Tap

There is a bar in Portland ,OR that has a similar system. They have a Huge flat screen with all their beers on it, and how much is in each keg. The volume left is automatically tallied through a computer. It was featured in beer advocate a while ago. I apologize but I can't remember the name of...

I just figured out how to correct for the 3 degrees. Then I turn the other outputs off.

    Mini-Mini Keg and Keg Pump

I asked where to buy it because everywhere I have found the 3" plastic pump it says the threads are 3/4 18 including the one on micromatic. As I see in the pic you used a 1/2 inch T with it threaded directly in. Are the specs mislabeled or is there something I'm missing?

    Boston strong

I'm a runner and I'm originally from Boston ), the bombing of the marathon hit close to home, literally and figuratively. My wife and daughter have waited for me at the finish line of every race I have ran. It shakes me to the bone to think they would have been at the finish line Monday had I...

Newbies-don't trust the markings on your bucket!

Another point, OP said he had a flashlight in the bucket. Was it in the water? That would add volume to your measurements too.
