    Heating question

I was heating my LME when I noticed that it looked almost as though it was curdling. Is this normal? If not what did I do wrong?

    Medovukha

This makes me thirsty. Just curious here but wouldn't wine yeast bring the alcohol content up to high? Wouldn't you want to use a beer yeast instead?

Show us your Mead in a photo!!!

Painted this label on and thought I'd post this. It's a basic mead recipe I made a little over 2 years ago. I can't remember the recipe exactly because I blended 2 batches.

I made a batch similar to this using about 1 pound of honey per gallon of apple juice. Then adding a blend of honey and cherry juice at the time of bottling.

    weird question here

So I'm aware there is no way of really knowing this but, what if black briar mead was real what would it taste like and what would the recipe be? So people put your 2 cents in and make up recipes that come to mind when playing skyrim or when you think about what black briar mead might taste like.

    Mulling spice questions

My personal preference is to add spices in the secondary and I have never used mulling spices but looking it up on google real quick I'd say not too much the clove usually pulls through really strong so I usually only go with one if I use them. But I'm not very familiar with mulling spices so...

    Bucket vs carboy.

CUrchin what is long term for you? Also tonight I tried two meads I was making and one was amazing (in a glass carboy) while the other was ehhh (in a plastic bucket). This got me wondering if carboys were better than buckets.
