    Hi, Ok...glad it worked well. Being a newbie I was getting a bit lost in the terminology. In this case to "pitch" means to make the starter and not just sprinkling the dry yeast on top of the must, like you do with a wine kit. So glad I found this forum. I have learned lots already.
