Bru Gear ProFermenter 14 Gallon Review

Have you tried reaching out to them? Give them a call if they have a phone number. The quickest way to get a response, post on their Facebook page. Seriously. I had a confirmation the next day for my order, but I know they're getting the 2.0 kettles out, so maybe that's the hold up? You...

    Grain Mill Motor

I'd love to see this work out, because I'd do a similar thing. Not that I'm lazy, I just think it would be extremely cool to have hooked up. Pour the grains in while the mill does the work.

Ah yes, the quick clean. I'm going to order one and see how I like it.

You have better pictures of the valve than they do on their site. I'll have to go look again, I have a valve from them bookmarked to buy. Love your setup! EDIT: Is this the one? http://www.brewershardware.com/TC10VBALL.html

Sweet sassy, what valves are you using there?

    "Cereal Killer" grain mill

Just ordered the Cereal Killer yesterday. Stoked to finally be able to use up some of my bulk grains.

SS BrewTech Chronical First Time Use

Very cool write up. I'd really love to get one of these ASAP.

    Bru-Gear people

Take your thermowell that came with the kettle, and throw it away. Halfway kidding, but I have used mine once, and it was only when I was heating my sparge water up. I would say to get an end cap that fits where you'd put that thermowell, and get a good, digital thermometer. If you don't...

Anyone using Center of Gravity Brewhouse?

Even at 20% off, I'd still be skeptical with what I feel (and I could be wrong) are subpar burners. I haven't looked in to it since the other day, but is there anything about mounting additional equipment to the stand? Such as pumps, shelves, etc... like the Top Tier?

    Anyone still around?

I missed it by just a few days. Turns out I would have won by default since no one entered in either style I was brewing. Didn't go to the Brewers Festival either, I couldn't justify $60 for 3 hours. Being from Portland, we'd pay a third of that for an all day affair. Screw that noise.

Anyone using Center of Gravity Brewhouse?

I was under the impression this thing was just released? There might not be too many people who have used it. I was excited when I got the email, and when I got home I checked it out some more. First thing for me, is that I don't know if I'm down for those burners. Granted, this stand does...

    Anyone still around?

I pop in here from time to time to check posts, but there doesn't seem to be much activity. Where do the homebrewers from Hawaii post at? Anyone else located on Maui?

This is awesome. I'm all about having my vessels look the same, so I'm going to order 2 more 10 gallon ProBoilers, both electric capable versions so that they have the added ferrule. Bru-Gear actually released a dip-tube on their site now. It may be the one that JayBird makes. I'm going...

It doesn't stick out more than an additional inch or so, but I'll measure it exactly on Wednesday morning when I brew with it.

So here's a follow up on a dip tube I purchased for my 10g ProBoiler. I couldn't remember if anyone had posted images of the tube from Brewers Hardware, but mine came in yesterday so I thought I'd share a couple of pictures to show what it looks like installed. Up close Higher up

    Bargain Fittings

Only placed one order with them, but dang that was out the door fast, and on its way. You can't beat that shipping, and their prices. I actually regret not ordering more extra parts just for the hell of it.
