Best Dale's Pale Ale Clone Kit?

Try this recipe from BYO. Just go to you LHBS and buy the ingredients. If you don’t have a local buy what you need from MoreBeer or whatever homebrew shop you normally get supplies from.

Show us your sculpture or brew rig

Unless there are pics of said “brew shed” it doesn’t exist. ;) Post them up so we can all see your brew space and drool.

    Picnic Tap Recommendations?

Yeah, it's right at the tip. Whether it's with picnic taps or with the Pluto Guns I simply keep a spray bottle of Star San/Iodophor (or even tap water would work too) that I squirt into the tip to make sure it's all cleaned out before putting it back in the keezer.

    Picnic Tap Recommendations?

MoreBeer.com and other retailers sell both stainless and ABS versions of a Pluto Gun. They are nice. I’ve got 4 of the stainless versions that I use in place of picnic taps and traditional taps in my keezer.

    BIAB and clarity

There is nothing I’ve been able to do about clarity after the mash. I’ve tried a few different techniques including draining off into a separate vessel and leaving the grain bag (or basket in my case) in place. It helped a bit but hardly. I’ve just stopped caring as I’ve not noticed a difference...

    Tower of Power

I use a TOP too. In my experience (and many others) the best thing to do to avoid a stuck sparge with any recirculating System is loosen up your crush on your mill. A good starting point is .045-.050. For comparison the Barley Crusher and many other mill brands ship with a setting of .039. By...

anyone ever drilled a hole for a thermowell into a stopper?

It’s pretty easy. When I did it I just put it in my freezer overnight to get it cold. This hardens it up a bit making it easier to drill. You are right. Not as clean but it’s worked fine for me.

One Pot BIAB System, Best system ever?

This is a cool idea! This could be the next step for BIAB. The grain father insulated or something. Who knows. Maybe SsBrewTech will make a commercially made item like this with built in heating in the bottom like the grain father. Great job!

California WTB: 3.5gal SSBrewtech Brewbucket Mini

I’ve got 2 of the Ss Brewtech BrewBucket Minis. I love them. If you watch MoreBeer.com, every now and then they do $25 off a $125 purchase. That’s how I got both of mine. I’ve also added the tri-clamp fitting to the lids. Now I can do pressure transfers. And I also use it for hop, gelatin...

First BIAB (first all grain) Schwarzbier. Tons of questions (RO water, hops ...)

For your water profile use Bru’n water and start with tab 1 and work your way over. Very easy to use. For the profiles don’t target a city. Just use the color profiles and you’ll be good. For my Schwarzbier I use black balanced. But you might choose another based on your tastes. You’ll add...
