    Prairie Bomb! Clone

Post boil and post chill. Look up vitality starter. Kristen England has talke about it in a few places. Also, I know Brulosophy talks about it and I think there’s something about it in the last BYO issue (just got the newest one today).

    Prairie Bomb! Clone

Brewed my batch today. It went well. Hit 1.106 into the fermenter. I’ll be monitoring with my Tilt. I haven’t received my coffee yet (haven’t heard a peep from the company actually) but I’ll get that squared away in due time. Made a big starter and then prior to pitching decanted and then...

    Prairie Bomb! Clone

I know this is an old thread, but figured I’d resurrect it. I just got all the ingredients for this beer. I’ll be brewing it this coming Monday. I’m excited to see how it turns out. Got the same brand of coffee Prairie uses even. I hoping it’s tasty...even if it’s not an exact clone. For yeast...

Take it back and exchange it. Or at the very least check if the others at the store smell.

Whatever this thing is...it looks awesome! Do you have any brew day footage? I’d LOVE to see this thing in action. Post it up on Youtube for folks to check out. I really like the originality and engineering that went into this.

    Good Condition Bottle Caps Wanted

I’m looking for bottle caps in excellent condition from craft breweries. Not interested if they we’re taken off with a traditional pry-off style opener as the little dents are not what I’m hoping for with the caps. I’m in Ohio (Cincinnati) and have quite a collection already. However I’m...

Lost rubber tip to beergun - solutions?

My LHBS has them in stock. However you can buy replacements too of course. http://shop.greatfermentations.com/product/replacement-tip-beergun/blichmann-replacement-parts It’s just oddly shaped enough that a DIY solution might be tough.

    Smoked Helles

I made a smoked pineapple Helles that was freaking amazing! Great combo. I’m sure a standard smoked Helles will be great.

    Solid vs Mesh sided Biabasket

I wanted to come back with an update reporting my experiences with my version of a solid-side basket (in case anyone cares). :) Rather than buying a sheet of stainless or having my BIAB Mesh Basket permanently modified, I purchased a sheet of HDPE from Grainger (like McMaster-Carr). It cost me...

Recipes from Northern Brewer, MoreBeer, and American Homebrewers Association

Here's a link to all the all grain recipes from HomeBrewSupply.com. Just downloaded them yesterday. I zipped them up and uploaded them to my drive just to add them to what you've got here. Hope it's a small "Thanks!" https://drive.google.com/file/d/1CBTyiUpcAdM20p0VoR4XgBEa_V0OW-wu/view?usp=sharing

Recipes from Northern Brewer, MoreBeer, and American Homebrewers Association

WOW! This was a lot of work. Thank you! I've downloaded them all. The timing is perfect too as I usually plan my next year's brew days & choose recipes in December. Thanks again! I've since downloaded the files & added them to my own Google Drive as well. Really...thanks very much. A huge benefit.
