I did that already. pitching a nice yeast cake on a new beer. I admit I never did a gravity test after a day but dosent mather, let it rest 4 or 5 days and then throw in secondary, will not affect the beer, did couple of GREAT beer like this :)

You can do it at 75 % which is usualy the rate we have. I dont think you will shoot alot lower this :) And if its higher just apreciate it :)

Did u said you were suposse to get 1.088 and you got it? Then whats the problem?? Having such a high gravity like this and reached it is for me, a succes.
