    What are you drinking now?

I think every store in our town was sold out of 6ers this weekend. Oh well...I got to try their Staghorn. I can alway drink the Spotted cow after I have a couple other beers and the Two Women when I've had enough where I don't care anymore.

    What are you drinking now?

Could only find it in the sampler pack so I have 3 bottles of Spotted Cow(not my favorite), 3 of Two Women(hate it), and 3 of their Oktoberfest which is pretty good.

What are you doing instead of brewing this weekend?

Making sauerkraut so I'll still be fermenting something.

The day I messed up but my beer didn't care.

Wet Yellow Pages Lager? Big Splash Lager? Big Mess Lager?

Advise on if I should bottle.

I stirred it on Saturday and it didn't start fermenting again. Took the gravity reading again tonight and it was still at 1.024. I decided to just bottle it and see what I come up with. I thought the taste was pretty good for my first time. I guess I'll just end up with a low abv beer.

I will be bottling my first brew today, a dark amber/ almost brown ale. In the meantime, some Lakefront Brewery Oktoberfest Lager.

I will remember that for next time. At this point, it is what it is. If the stirring doesn't get it to come down some more, I'll bottle it up and see what it comes out like. Chalk it up to a learning experience.

Thanks everybody. I will give it a gentle stir and see if it will start again. If not, I'll bottle it in a couple days and see what it turns out like and note the mash temp for later brews.

Advise on if I should bottle.

2 weeks ago I brewed my first batch of beer, a dark Amber/light brown ale. I did a BIAB and exceeded my efficiency that I used for my recipe. I ended up with a 1.053 OG which is above the 1.046 that was my target. I took a reading 3 days ago and it was at 1.024 and the reading today was the...
