    Actually they can be planted either way, but you are correct as in most commercial hop farmers will plant them vertically. They will grow both ways, so it just comes down to personal preference. Also most commercial growers recommend 2-4 rhizomes per hill... I will post my new hop yard I started...

    Mine sucks..wouldn't recommend it unable to get it to At..used system twice brewed two beers, ready to try a third and now it won't allow the element in HLT to turn on...never was able to get it programed correctly, over shot my temps both brews, other PID w/ out timer works great...this one...

    Yeah more than ten it just keeps climbing, like its not shutting off, so I have to manually throttle it back by turning it off and then back on...

    My Auber SYL-2352 works great I also have the Auber SWA-2451 w/timer and having issues getting it programed correctly but the 2451 is a great unit! I can not speak to the MyPin PIDs. good luck
