Schmaltz generally has a groupon for their tour. Also Westmere beverage is owned by the same ppl as Olivers, they fill crowlers (can growlers)

Pump Station and Druthers are downtown Albany. Both have decent food and beer.

Thanks for that advice on uline, I'll just have to figure out how big of a bag I want now :) And the picture has been awhile.. Either at the pub or at Sam Adams brewery, we took the shuttle between the two.

They would seal the grain bag, but any other odds and ends would be in a big ziploc, though not as big as the one linked.. Maybe it was like a 2 or 2.5 gal. It's definitely not 1 gallon. I even asked them once if they could send me a few extra and they did. The chickens thanked them!

Dumb question but does anyone know what size the giant ziploc bags they used to send were? I used to use them to give grain to a coworker who had a relative with chickens and wanted to try to source some!

You could start planning for next year, I read it's in Baltimore? Did they say where specifically? For you guys who have been to one, is there some specific time you start booking rooms and stuff? Since this next ones on the east coast I'm planning to go :)

Bottles no, cans last I bought them yes.

I noticed this in a competition I entered, and I think I read somewhere that some related categories may end up combined when scoring depending on the number of entries or other reasons... Though that could be totally wrong because I dont remember where I saw it.

Our local places here have a brewery imposed release date of 4/1 from what I have heard. Last year they had one bottle limits, I'm hoping to hit a few stores and get at least a couple bottles!

Brewed today, can't wait to start drinking it :)

Awesome thanks! They do a clone of Monday night drafty kilt, snagged a bottle of that on the way thru GA to Florida and loved it.

Anyone have experience with this shop? Looking at ordering a kit, just wanted to see if anyone had any positive or negative experiences with them.

So my girlfriend has me watching this show and I'm trying to figure out what kinda beer they all drink, I can't ever see an angle on the bottle labels! Anyone know?
