pH calibration with wort temps on Milwaukee M102

Really don't want to argue, but there are ph transmitters with true ATC at process temp. We use them all the time at temperatures above 200f and they are just as accurate as taking the sample at STP. I use GLI transmitters.

This is so great! I know where you can get some relative bearing grease for it ! Don't forget the right handed smoke shifter too.

    Supply Cord Size

Our Lowes usually has SO cable that someone brought back or the end of a reel for 50% off, worth taking a look. I have 40ft of 10/4 I got for 20ft price.

    Supply Cord Size

12awg SO/ SJ cable is rated for 20a. Make your own cord, don't cut an end off a extension cord, it's an assembly and as such , when modified it is no longer rated. SO has a thicker jacket that's much more forgiving than Chinese crap.

How to control the boil kettle?

Not true, if you have only one leg 120v of a 240v circuit energized, it will not heat the element, since the circuit isn't complete. The element would just float at 120v, the only way it would heat is if the other leg is grounded (1/2 power) or the other 120 leg of the 240v circuit is energized...

    Bucks Electric Brewery

Nice! Well to update, I've got about 15 batches on this and all is well. I'm working on using a mass flow meter to monitor fermentation. Results to follow.

    Can't get RIMS to autotune

Cool, the PID probably don't reset to a default state on those, when doing a auto tune.

    Can't get RIMS to autotune

Is the temperature crossing your set point and cooling back down? Usually to tune a PID loop the controller will drive the output across the set point like 3-5 times, may take a while, but if your output isn't doing anything or if it just stays at 100% and never goes lower then there is an issue...

    Ozone sanitation

Every where in the brewery. With air monitoring you can use it to keep airborne contamination down too.

    Ozone sanitation

It's not about money, it's about effectiveness and the many ways you can use it.

    Ozone sanitation

I'm going to give it a shot. I have a source of clean dry air from a refrigerated dryer, a nice degas chamber and a great pump. I'm going to use 2 3G per hour generators. Also I'm going to use a ORP probe to verify.

    Failure of Brewha BIAC

Is it sandy? I wonder if they use a "green sand" to form the jacket? If not is it welding residue? Slag? Gotta wonder if they back purged the weld? And if not, do they repasivate it? If there was that much, then I don't care how you put engineering controls on it, it's going to fail no matter...

    Ozone sanitation

Has anyone gone as far to use ozone as a cheap and very effective sanititizer? A lot of breweries are starting to move this direction.
