Best RO system for the money?

Just got this bad boy. Should do 12gph. If I fill my HLT and then use the storage tank to top of the HLT with water that went to the MLT. So no more buying distilled. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=141394164421

As Bobby said, it will float voltage if there is no load present. One other thing to remember, just because there is no input signal doesn't mean there is no voltage present as stated. So when working in the panel, you must isolate power to the SCR! Or you will become the load.

    CIP system

Built with stuff I had laying around the house. This system has a diaphram pump that I'm allowing it to put out 50psi to a rotating spray ball. It has a 1500w inline heater taken from a dishwasher. The two 3 way valves will allow me to suck up the caustic/ acid and water in one position then...

Kyle, keep ordering from Brewcraft, if not they are starting to only deal with brick and mortar stores, otherwise your grandfathered in. All we need is for someone with a space to keep the grains, and be there when delivered. Better yet with a loading dock. Otherwise there is a liftgate fee...

The heater is between the blue hose on the bottom of the pump. It's a 1.25" stainless tube with heating coil around it. Those blue hoses are silicone 1.25 to 1.0 radiator hoses. It's 1500w at 120v. I'm using super cip and acid #5, but will be using PBW as a everyday cleaner.

Just got done with my CIP system using parts found in my spare part shed. Pneumatic diaphragm pump, with a dishwasher water heater to keep the loop warm.

I control loop temp which is +/- 3 degrees. Then I adjust the loop temp using a probe in the fermenter.

Ok, now to drop a bomb on everything. As of now, I'm no longer working at A&M. They no longer want to do a group buy. So Kyle, how can we do this, and keep it from being a bear to do? I'm up for heading this up.

    Wire Crimpers

Those blocks may not be rated for stranded, but you will need another crimper for the ferrels. More money. Ferrels are nice when jumping between blocks, or use the jumpers or bars that your terminal block uses. I would look at Automation Direct for a cheap and rated TB...

Thanks, I went the whole way at once. You could do it in modules though, just plan for it. I'm an STS2/SS when I got out in 2000, I enlisted as a EM and went to the schools, but was offered to cross rate to a ST, the nuclear part also came from refueling and fuel repair when I worked for...
