Good point... I never mind a buzz, but I'm brewing for a good tasting brew more than anything!

    Swap-O-Rama #5, The fall harvest...

Sounds great.... and that's good news on shipping. I feared a sixer alone would cost 20+!

    Swap-O-Rama #5, The fall harvest...

I'd love to get into trading brews! I love our local stuff here in Missouri, but who doesn't wanna try what else is out there?! How do I start? What's a six pack usually cost to ship? And as I'm sure 1000000 people probably have asked, is there anyone that trades 3 floyds, been dying to try a...

    Beer It Forward

Definitly want to get involved! I'd love to share local beers and some home brews! Feedback on some homebrew would be AMAZING! Anyone know what shipping typically costs on a six pack? I live in Missouri and have lived in Delaware, I'd love to share our brews as well as potentially try beers...

    Early Bottling?

Will do.That kinda sucks, I feared it'd end up in the 3% range. Last time I go cheap and only use 4.5 lbs. I guess it'll be an all day drinking kinda beer!

    Early Bottling?

I have not.... my first two batches bubbled the airlock for several days, and again in the secondary. Is this just gonna be a weak brew?

After about the third day with it bubbling a bit, it stopped completely. After a week passed I moved...

All grain may be a move in the future... as of now I'm still taking everything in and getting my feet wet with all I can. And on a side note.... I know brewing a kit of premeasured ingredients is not too impressive, however I did a red ale (my first brew) and it turned out fantastic! The wifes...

Thanks for the advice.... I've been reading nonstop...recipes, advice, and recommendations on brewing with all the different ingrediants I could think of. I enjoy the kit brews, but I'm really excited to play and create!

    Create your own

Okay, I'm thinking of using an amber malt extract with 1oz. cascade hops, steeping half pound of caramalt and half pound of honey oats, using an undecided amount of sweet orange peel, seeds of paradise, ginger root. ... and dry hopping with 1 oz of citra hops...... in my head I beleive this will...

    Create your own

I'm very new in the homebrewing world. I've done two kits (red ale, and a holiday ale) and I'm loving everything about it! I've got a few concoctions for experimental recipes in my head.... my question is.... does every creation fall into a catagory of a specific type of beer? (ex...Stout...
