Hi Merry Christmas all.
I'm fermenting two batches, an Americam Pale Ale & a Milk Stout. Can I keg a portion of each batch and bottle the rest? If so, what changes would I make regarding carbonation? I'm pretty new but as far as I can see bottles use priming sugar and keg use co2.
I will be brewing with the same exact recipe as my first ever batch, an American Pale Ale. I figure if I use the same recipe and refer to my brew note to make some adjustments and correct some errors I will be able to notice the difference and, hopefully, an improvement. I'm just doing all...
HVAC here. I design and sell residential heating and air conditioning systems. I started in the industry as a service technician(or mechanic, if you will)
I love to cook, especially with my daughter.
I began brewing, drinking my first batch now, because I enjoy many different beers and wanted...
Thanks for the boost of confidence.
One thing I have noticed ... lack of consistency between bottles. For the most part they have been close in carbonation, clarity, and flavor but today I popped open my first cloudy bottle. I'm hoping this improves was I get more practice in.
Hey all. I'm Cassandra. I bottled my 1st batch EVER on the 1st of month. Drinking it now, I am pleasantly surprised with the outcome. I will definitely be brewing a second, third, fouth... you get the point.
Happy brewing.
I drink alone a lot. I go to the local place for a bit and have a brew. Or ill pick up a 6pk on the way home. My first batch of home brew is still doing its thing but I suspect I'll be mostly drinking that alone too.
