    Stupid Joke Thread!

It would probably take many hands to get Uncle Jack off an elephant.

Glitter Beer - I would like to make some and found this video, what do you think?

I totally trust the FDA. Why would I eat/drink anything without glitter now?

It's gonna melt quick. Then a few weeks of mud and we'll be in the clear...

    Transformer Grounding Question

You can actually ground one side of the transformer secondary and should in many cases but I don't believe it's required with a class 2 transformer.

    Transformer Grounding Question

It looks like all the mounting methods suggested would ground the case of the transformer to the metal box or conduit. Just attach a ground wire to the case somehow.

    Where to find used motors

Don't pass on an old right angle drill if you see one. Perfect speed right out of the box and should come with a Chuck to attach the mill. Project is half done...;)

    ABV Calculator

I stuck the instruction sheet from my hydrometer on my fridge. Take the difference between og and fg and read it off the chart. Was always close enough for me.

Yeah but she would probably want it all over her body. Not just on a few spots.

    Need help locating a movie

This place can get sort of boring sometimes. These threads are like adding a bit of spice to a bland meal. Jayjay and ismellwierd should get an act together;)

How many bus bars do I need?

I'm a bit sceptical of the warning too;) And the dimensions while we're at it...

How many bus bars do I need?

I noticed that but I couldn't find a voltage rating. I'm guessing they are a marine type device rated for 12VDC. They would probably work but you would be better off with 250VAC rated components since that is the voltage you will be using.

How many bus bars do I need?

I don't see any voltage rating on those. I used these: http://www.elecdirect.com/power-distribution-blocks/single-primary-multiple-secondary

    From sewer to beer can

No brewing. Barely even drinking. I'm planning to mooch Homebrew off of you soon though. I get that. It's cool and will probably become a necessity in some places. It's funny that so many will have to overcome the ick factor though. Hey, how about human fertilizer and stop dumping all those...

    From sewer to beer can

There is very little new water. I would guess that it's all been sewage at one point. What's the big deal?

    Who's smoking meat this weekend?

What? You're supposed to clean them? ;) Actually, with the ugly drum, I flip it over once in a while and knock out the loose stuff. Otherwise, I just wire brush the racks before use.

I think they're hot, but you probably don't

Yeah. I don't think Trump is as voluptuous.

Spa Panel Arrived! Now what's the best way to wire it up?

Yes. You will need a neutral if you plan to use 120V from the panel.

Thanks Dan. I've had to go back to "real" work lately so progress is slow. My big problem lately it's trying to tune the PID's for the soap kettles. I never expected to have any trouble with that but I'm getting closer I think. Hope everyone had a nice Easter.

    Help with temperature control?

There are some magic numbers. I can't find them. I set I and d to zero. P goes from zero to 10000. Where do I start? I need manual tuning a pid for dummies. This sucks.
