    Can you secondary prematurely

I just racked an IPA from my primary to a secondary after 6 days. I hope I didn't screw things up. I was under the impression that once the bubbling in the air lock all but stopped, you can transfer to your secondary. I'll let you know in amonth or so how it turned out.

    Is 2.5 weeks too soon?

It has been in the bottle for 2 weeks. I am sampling now. I have to say it's pretty good, but it may need a bit more time.

    Is 2.5 weeks too soon?

I had some issues with my first batch of homebrew. Of course I bottled it and am hoping for the best. I am very tempted to sample a bottle to see if it is on the right track. Is that a bad thing? Thanks

    Yeast starter

Just did my first yeast starter and I was wondering has anyone ever had one blow off? I have it in a nice dark 70 deg. spot, but I would hate to see a mess if it goes a little crazy. Thanks

Trying my first recipe, what do you think

I do use beer smith, and i was planning a full boil. A friend suggested that to me already, and I have tasted a couple of his brews, so I thought it was good advice.

Do I need a yeast starter?

I am getting ready to start second batch of home brew. Last time I used an ingredient kit with a dry yeast. This time I am going with my own recipe and Wyeast 1272. Beersmith says my o.g. should be around 1.066. Do I need to do a yeast starter? Thanks
