    Waste??

From what I've read here, home brewing can result in a fair amount of drinking brews you aren't entirely happy with. I get the impression that you guys will try every which way to save/savour your creations, even if they don't turn out too palatable! :-) Is that an accurate assumption?? Sent...

I'm losing my mind over this

Could your keg be drawing air? (I know this is unlikely, but there may be a cracked or porous weld somewhere allowing ingress) Sent from my iPod touch using Home Brew

I'm losing my mind over this

Some medications can cause that, it's probably worth considering! Dysgeusia I mean. Sent from my iPod touch using Home Brew

    Carbonic acid

I stopped drinking carbonated juice about 12 years ago. There is severe erosion on my lower 4s and upper right 4, but it hasn't got any worse since then. I'd just like to know if I could minimise the damage by letting carbonated juice go flat if do drink it, or if that's just a waste of time...

I'm losing my mind over this

So you can take it and see what other people think of it!! Also, if the problem occurs in the keg, as recent posts would indicate, this might solve the problem? Sent from my iPod touch using Home Brew

    SWMBO and I compromised

My dogs both answer to multiple names! (They are corsos, btw, so not too far away from your boy there!) Quiche is aka Cloud (her real, proper name), Crippler, Wee Woof, BlueFace, Broken Arse (this one is the result of coming off worst against a double decker bus. Much metal work and an...

    Dryness question: Strongbow

I would like a slightly fizzy end product, and I'm going to bottle. If I add enough sugar (or apple concentrate or whatever) to back sweeten, and then add another 1 teaspoon of sugar per pint bottle to condition, how long after bottling should I wait to halt the fermentation? Sent from my...

    Carbonic acid

So, if I let something go flat, it no longer contains carbonic acid? (For the health of my tooth enamel, I'd like to be 100% clear on this one! Lol) Sent from my iPod touch using Home Brew

    SWMBO and I compromised

This! I've never had a dog that started out a good dog, but they all ended up that way. (And they were all hellions to start with) There's a good dog in all of them, hope you find him! Sent from my iPod touch using Home Brew

    Demerara sugar

    Demerara sugar

This: As I understand it, it's basically just a less refined version of normal, white table sugar. I like it better as it has a richer flavour, and I prefer to use it in baking, rather than just white. For the same reasons, I wanted to use it for cider making. Sent from my iPod touch using...

    Brewery doesn't allow mixing beers
