Can i sanitize a few weeks before filling keg

If your sanitizing with Starsan I wouldn't worry about dumping that little bit of water as it will have no impact!

    5 lb. CO2 bottle question

I pay $10 dollars per refill here in SE Indiana. I currently have 4 kegs off my 5lb CO2 and when I force carb the tanks drain really quickly!

    BIAB Questions

Curious if you want to clarify your statement here? I mash in usually with anywhere from 7-8 gallons of water depending on grain size and boil time. I am given the impression you are mashing in with less? Seems to me you are complicating the simplifcation of BIAB...

Cream Ale Cream of Three Crops (Cream Ale)

It didn't help me at all! I fermented at 62 and checked after 14 days in and was at 1.020 :(. I potentially may have mashed in slightly higher so some of my attenuation issues may result from that.

Keezer in basement, faucets in kitchen

Can you take pictures of the pump? How long is the run? Thanks!

Cold Crashing - Good/Bad or How long?

I recently crashed at this temp and it made transferring to a keg much easier! Seemed to not only clear the beer but also keep the particles down while using the racking cane!

    BIAB. Water to grain ratio

Agreed with elk shadow. I usually start with 7.5-8 gallons depending on grain and boil time. With excess trub usually going into the fermenter I like to have a slight excess to make up for this loss as well. Happy brewing!

What makes up the particles in BIAB

I just keg'd my first biab and was overly concerned with the same thoughts as you. All I can say is the beer taste great with zero off favors. Good luck

Go ahead and bash me, I like Sam Adams.

They do have tours if you know the right people :rockin: J/K but seriously a good friend of mine just took a job at SA and said he could get me in on a tour at the Cincy Plant... As for their beer, I have no complaints...
