    Local beer swap-o-rama!

Its always nice getting beers you wouldn't normally have access to. Especially when someone caters to the receiver rather than their own likes.

What's the worst craft brew (commercial) you've had?

Back on topic, Victory's Summer Love Ale was horrible to me. It was immediately traded to a friend for some Oberon. The other I was sadly disappointed with was SN Summerfest...however I do plan to try it again because it was after an imperial stout which needless to say can leave you needing...

What's the worst craft brew (commercial) you've had?

Not arguing tastes but Bell's has some good brews along with some mediocre and even some below par, but I feel that's true of most breweries. In fact there is not one brewery I can even say puts out more than 70% good beer (IMO). Note: In no way am I attacking your opinion, I only think its...

    BIAB to Three Tier??

I have used the BIAB, Brew in a bag, method for over 6 months now. I have been seeing a lot of three tier systems and am wondering what the ups are vs. BIAB, and the exact process carried out in each vessel (even without BIAB I thought there was no need for anything other than a cooler for...

    Kegging commercial kegs

I know it's been a little while since you asked the question, but you can get it out with pliers and a screwdriver. Here's a link www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ZPfZ_AL380. It takes me about 5 minutes to do it myself (not a pro like the guy in the video).

    GOOD on Netflix STREAMING?

Trailer park boys, by the time you finish this series you'll wish you lived in a trailer park in Canada too. If you want to get the gist without watching the show they have a movie, Trailer Park Boys:The Movie that is the end to the show.

    Local beer swap-o-rama!

I did however take the time to look for cans last time I was at the store and was surprised to see about six different varieties of cans, even a few IPAs for the hop heads.

beginner wants to brew with us: recommendations?

Outsid92129 quote "Should we go with an extract kit? We'll be doing 2-3 other all-grain batches that day and i don't want to have him think he got the baby-version" I would recommend an extract kit along with the all grain batches. You can show him the "baby version" and how you can literally...

    Local beer swap-o-rama!

Being in Georgia I have access to lot of breweries that will only distribute to the southeast. Some of the breweries I have acess to are Red Hare (GA exclusive with only cans), Sweetwater (bottles), Terrapin (bottles), Red Brick (Most underrated brewery I America IMHO. bottles), Monday Night...

    Bubble Guts!

Bubble guts, also known as the BGs, always seem to hit me after a good day of home brews (all those yeasty beasts). Am I alone or do ya'll find yourself heading towards that handicap stall more the next day after drinking "live beer"?

    Using commercial kegs

While you only need to sanitize once I like to do it twice just to make sure no "stale beer" taste is left. Another good idea is to run some of that sanitizer through the beer lines followed by some hot water.

    Using commercial kegs

quote," I just don"t know anything about cleaning a snake" I think they just shed their skin, but seriously what SleepyCreekBrews said is correct. I use a pair of pliers and a screwdriver to get the bung off and remove the stem. Then I rinse and repeat with hot water until no visible residue...
