Thanks daksin for the input. The cream ale and hefe I knew not to age. I also Know to store beer at the proper temp. To give a better idea of what I'm asking; I am currently setting up a cellar and do not wish to cellar any beer that will be bad within six months-one year. I drink regularly so...

Just a helpful question for me and possibly a few others, what beer styles are NOT ok for storing? I was still in my lurking only stage when I saw on here someone say they had a six month old beer (idk which one or style) and about five of ya'll jumped on and told him it was way past it's prime...

Hey stick to your opinion if that's how you feel. The new hollands dragon's milk was rated in the high 90s and tasted like someone put a half ounce of whiskey in the beer. No longer had a beer taste to me just a weird whiskey taste (I love scotch just not with beer).
