I'm not trying to trash Anything. I'm trying to understand it. A "teat wash" that says right on the bottle that it isn't safe for human consumption doesn't seem like something I want in anything I eat or drink...never been chastised for asking questions but thanks for that.

Had a rapid boil. Pulled the lid and it turned to a rolling liquid with no boil in about15 seconds. Afraid I've ruined this one. I've had it rolling just below boil for an hour before I finally was able to add hops. Now I have a pathetic boil and 22 minutes left.

Every time I pull the lid the boil stops. I'm leaving it and buying a turkey fryer and new kit. I'll be brewing another batch by weeks end. Sucks.

I'm Thinking about just boiling everything for the ferment so I can get it going. I can get star San for racking out and such. As far as I've heard sanitizer is just insurance and it's brand spankin new. I know that doesn't mean germ free...but I'll have 2 or more going by next week...

The closest HBS is 1:20 away so it's hardly local. Ill probably just make the drive. The alternative is a rediculous wait because of the holiday.
