I wasted a lot of time looking for a brewery (the ADM depot threw me off) in Canada (the railcars) next to a hotel.
Once I had your clues, it came down to ID'ing the bridge.

I did a Google search of "old white church 'new england' ", and actually found the image of the abandoned residences first!
It's the O'Neal Bridge over the Tennessee River at Florence, Alabama.
I'm a retired civil engineer, so I was looking to identify the location by the bridge design. It's a cantilevered through truss, but I couldn't find it using that information. So, I Googled "Alabama bridges" and there it was...

It is, of course, a view from the Windsor, Ontario side heading toward Detroit. It actually says Ambassador Bridge on top, so yeah, had to go low-res on the pic!

I'm not a Boilermaker, but the muddy river did put me in mind of the Wabash from my visits to relatives in Terre Haute!

Man, that's off the beaten path. After many dead-ends, including looking at all the state capitol buildings, I searched for county courthouses by state, and found Tippecanoe County's unique looking spire.

I promise I didn't cheat to get this one! I Googled "lighted ski slopes", and the same picture (1st one) appeared in the 5th row down in Google images.
