Siebel WBA Web-based Concise Course in Brewing Technology

If it is still the same course content as when I took it a few years ago then I'd say it's overpriced. You can get the knowledge your looking for with diligent reading of readily available brew books, magazines and forums. Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad course (Concise course in brewing...

Seeking opinions on 3 possible grain-mill motors

Hey Ben, It depends on what you want. Highly portable and multi use (drill motor) or semi portable or not at all with a mounted electric motor. I have a motor on mine built into a box that I can easily move that I like a lot. If you decide you want a motor I think I have two or three here...

    10 Tap Build...

My 20 cu ft holds 11 cornies. Keep in mind cornies come in short and fat vs tall and skinny so your mileage may vary. Mine is on a wood frame with wheels. Don't try to move it much when loaded as it is heavy. I pull it with the lawn tractor if loaded, otherwise it's easy to roll empty and put...

    Mad Elf Clone?

Below is a ProMash all grain that I made based on the extract recipe of a club member. I liked his extract sample when he brought it to the club meeting so I made it as an all grain. I've just kegged it but have not tried it yet. His extract version is at the end of the ProMash under "notes"...

    Another etched beer glass

Being etched there is no problem with the dishwasher. I've done this and having yours at the top of the glass will be nice. Mine are in the middle of the glass and don't show up well when glass is full of beer. I'm surprised no one asked so I will. Since you have the ability to make stencils...

    P/U truck tire recommedations

Hello all, I have a 1997 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 long bed extended cab V-10 pickup. In 14 years I've driven in the snow once. I do however ocassionally get into sand or forest service roads. Original tires are shot at 70k miles so I've been looking at tirerack dot com and reading reviews. It...

Hi guys, I took the Concise course. It's not bad but I think you can get the same info and save a lot of money by doing a lot of reading on your own.

what is the best of the best bench capper

I have both the Colonna capper/corker and the Super Agata. If you want to do corks as well as cap then go with the Colonna. It's great unless your using a mixed batch of bottles in the same session as you'll need to adjust the base plate for different heights. Not a big deal just be aware of...

Which capper do you all recommend? - reviews are so mixed

I have both of the bench cappers pictured above. I like both. The first one (Corona, with the arch) also corks. I do wine too. The second one (single column) is easy to adjust if your bottles are not the same height. I have never used the wing capper.
