Upon further review, ia appears that this Old Ale style does make a smaller batch. The instructions inside the cap says "Old Ale kits brew less then 23 liters. For Old Ale, we recommend you brew strictly according to the instructions on the can label". So I guess I'm back to the original plan...

Very good, thank you. I'm thinking on doing the smaller batch with this one and saving the Ale Pail for the Coopers English Bitter kit I also got. These will be the first brews in my fermentation chamber. :rockin:

I received my controller today and finished my fermentation chamber controller tonight. I was able to test it and it worked perfectly.

Great DIY Tutorial. I bought my supplies this morning and ordered my TSS2-2100 as well. Now I just need wait for it to come in :( Now off to rearrange the garage to put in the freezer chest.

Thanks Hopheaded. I was actually thinking about ordering some stuff from Midwest Supplies. They have the high temp tubing and fitting anyway. Here is the final build photos. It's 11" high at the top of the coil and 10" across. It should work pretty well. Not too bad for my first attempt.
