All goes well until the foam gets into the overflow valve then filling sticks and becomes eratic. It's as if the foam it's self is blocking the overflow valve, I can get it going by opening and closing the overflow and beer valves but it's just not right. Any suggestions as to how I might fix...

I have an issue, my ispindle configured and calibrated without any dramas but only sends one of two readings to Uidots. I've seen this reported on the Net but I've no clear idea how to fix it, can you point me in the right direction? thanks all. AAmcle

I have brewed BIAB style with and with out a pump, you will be fine with out one however I would recommend insulating your vessel but then I don't own a mill. If you want to do a step mash you still can just raise the bag heat the wort put the bag back and stir. Good Luck. Aamcle

I sparge my GF with cold water, it would be inconvenient to heat it, and the last two brews gave me 78% Mash Efficiency. That's good enough for me, there are a number of very workable knock offs of the GF selling your old gear might well buy one. Atb. Aamcle

A peristaltic pump was my first thought but as you said a pump that will manage even 1 liter a minute is costly. I'd still like to use tubing in the 3/8" range which makes it a bit harder. Atb aamcle

You may as well include the Grain Farther and it's derivatives, just because one vessel is hidden inside the other doesn't mean it's not there. So you could reasonably call it 2 vessel. Aamcle
