What does your LHBS do to keep you coming back?

My LHBS is about 45 minutes away but its attached to Bell's cafe..... They are usually well stocked and have a good selection of equipment, oh yeah and a walk in cooler of all the Bell's brews. The only thing I wish they did have was Wyeast. And the bottles are only $5 a case.

Blichmann Modular Brewing Stand "Top Tier" (spring 09)

I'm interested about the wheels too. I have the 3" mast and the legs, so I'm getting ready to assemble it and I would like to have wheels on it too, also where did you get the leveling feet?

Autumn Seasonal Beer Samhain Pumpkin Ale

Has anyone tried mashing this with graham cracker? I was reading some of the posts and it came to mind. There is a recipe for a Graham cracker ale on hbt but and it says mash with two pounds, what do you guys think? I'm making this this weekend so I think I might try it.

I don't understand scalping beer on ebay

I wouldn't pay $100 a bomber but I did buy some Pliny off eBay for $20. I live in Michigan and I'm probably never gonna go to California, but I've always wanted to try it so me and a brew buddy decided to go halfs on it. It was worth it to me though.

I just got mine today as well, and I know this has been said alot but thanks for doing this. I found this tread as I started looking at lines and this was above and beyond what I could find retail. Thanks again.

Prepare to learn from my mistakes...

First of all welcome to the addiction/hobby/lifestyle. By all means I'm not a super experienced brewer nor have I ever used a Mr beer kit but I would look at northernbrewer.com or midwestsupplies.com to look at starter kits for both equipment and ingredients. Thats how I got into this.

I can't help much but I think I can point you in the right direction. Brewingtv.com did two episodes on casks. I would check that out. Good info.
