I'm planning an upgrade to an electric system soon. Everything I've read mentions a vent hood being necessary. But how necessary is it really? I've been boiling in my garage on my propane system already, haven't noticed any issues. How would electric be different?

I ended up buying a similar cooler. I emailed True and they confirmed that all of the coolant lines are in the back wall. They sent me some pics and manuals that confirm. Drill wherever you want as long as you avoid the compartment with the fan.

I believe I've narrowed the leak down to the joint between the regulator and the bottle. I put some teflon tape on the threads, but it's still leaking. What else can I do?
