Just got the kettles in last week and did a wet run with water. It boiled off 3 gallons in 60 minutes. I m thinkin i should turn down the burner. I really dont know what i should start off with as a pre-boil amount now. But i m looking forward to brewin on it.

I got the same all-grain kit and it will also be my first all-grain batch. I am just waiting for my kettles to come. I will let you know what i get fo my OG.

Just got a response from BMW: "They have started shipping the backordered pots, and they should be going out any day now. I am sorry for the wait and I will forward you the tracking info as soon as we get it." Deja Vu, I think I have heard this before.

I wouldn't think my kettles are far behind yours then, but who knows.

I built my single tier Bruno 10 to the dimensions of the blichmann pots, so I can't cancel my order. I will just have to ride this out. I'm just glad I will get all my brewing equipment done in one shot, cause I will think twice before I order from them again.
