Linux Users? (What OS do you use?)

I'm playing a few games under WINE, so far no issue, the community forums have a TON of WINE related issues for the popular online games, but for the most part if can be done. When I first installed Ubuntu and mentioned about running a few programs in WINE I had deihard Windows Fanboys tell me...

    You know what I hate?

EWWW! I had a guy come into the bathroom, sit down in the stale next to me, drop a deuce, then got up (not sure if he wiped?), flushed and just walked out... I immediately yanked the spray lysol and sprayed down everything in the bathroom... I'm a germ-freak like that... I avoided and did...

The super geeky, post your desktop thread

MOD EDIT: Threads merged. A few co-workers here have some pretty weird desktops on their computer... so I got to thinking, what does everyone else's look like? I found out that we have a few closet Lord of the Rings fans and I aslo was shocked to see that a co-worker of mine is really into...

Anyone have to work today (Friday Nov 28th)

I had work today, went in and did absolutely nothing... most of the guys left around 3pm, I snuck out at 4pm... What a royal waste of time, the phone didn't ring once and all I did was set up for work on Monday. Then again I work with a bunch of ******-nozzles who like to email each other...

So... I set myself on Fire.

For some reason about 1/2 the guys at the firehouse didn't hear this story (including the Chief) so I had the pleasure of "sharing" my experience to Chief and the rest of the crew and I have honestly never seen people laugh so hard... I guess when you hear me tell it in person and my body...

Wild Turkey is good, nothing beats fresh meat... that could pretty much apply to all meats (deer, fish, turkey, etc.)

    Sweet Beezus!

we have a similar situation... although it was a yellow jacket hive along side our foundation wall, we dug out a nice sized hole (about 4 x 4 ft).... it's amazing how neat hives are.

    Turkey Farms?

Every year my family travels to a local turkey farm to pick out a turkey, after it's weighed and killed we go pick it up the following day (the day before thanksgiving). Anyone else do this? We've debated about raising our own, the process takes about 22-23 weeks from hatching to slaughter...
