Ideas for fly sparging and square cooler

You are not going to thoroughly rinse the grain fly sparging in a rectangle MLT with any manifold. When I was getting into AG I wasnt sure to batch or fly with my rectangle MLT. I did an experiment sparging with food dye in the sparge water. When I carefully raked the grain bed I found out that...

    Does anyone really like IPA's?

This is why we are all in this hobby... We can make the beer we love the way we like it. You like IPAs but you cant find one that is hoppy enough for you...You make it. But he does do special orders, so I do get my bulk base grains from him for $40. I get most of my supplies from midwest. I think their stuff...

    Off bitter flavor

I recently made my first american barleywine about a week and a half ago. I did a gravity check the other day to see how things was going, and tasted it. It had a OG of 1.114 and IBU of 99. Now the SG is 1.029. At first it tasted good, a little sweet with a good bitterness, but the bitterness...

    Keggle Thermometer

There is a fitting in my midwest catalog that says you can use a 1/8" or 3/16" stem thermometer. I think this is it but it has a different part # and a little different description. But it looks just like it. The part # in the catalog is ZY42

    Selecting a PID

That sound pretty cool. I thought that this PID was the norm around here, but just wanted to double check before I bought it. I am very excited about this upgrade and the fact that I will be just a step away from a HERMS. Thank you for the help.
