    I managed to get ahold of a bottle of Terrapin Cinnamon Roll'd W-n-B Coffee Oatmeal Imperial Stout. It ig good. The aroma is straight dark roasted coffee beans. The middle is double espresso with a slight cinnamon finish. It has a "thin" mouthfeel at 9.4%. I gave it a 4.5 on Untappd. It is a...

    Shaking Mash (Shaken Not Stirred)

    I was thinking about shaking mash today and the weight of a ten gallon batch vs the strength of my 94 qt Igloo marine cooler MT handles. I am going to just put a piece of pipe under the cooler so I can easily roll the cooler it back and forth. That should give my a nice even "shake."

    10 gallon fermenters

    I'm new to this and still have lots of questions. Is it ok that these types of containers will still let air in? I thought that a fermenter needed to keep all air out. I have not brewed a batch yet but I am almost setup for all grain 10 gallon batches. Is it ok that the lid doesn't seal? If so...
