    Blackberry in a Barrel

I have a 30 Gal barrel that I am using as a secondary for my Blackberry Wine. My question is that I know I have some lees at the bottom of the barrel. How do you recommend racking 30 Gal? Rack into primaries, clean barrel, and then re-rack back to barrel? Any suggestions or am I on the right...

    port floor corker help

I have one of these and where the bottom of the bottle goes is adjustable. It will handle any size wine bottle you have. They are worth their weight in gold for anyone who makes wine.

    Wine Kit Question

I have made plenty of fruit wines, but I just started my first Kit Wine. My question is when in the primary fermenting for the first 5-7 days do you stir the contents every day like I would my fruit wines? It does not say to in the instructions.

No off taste. No blown corks. I will put them in the fridge for awhile and see if that helps. They still taste fine, they are just bubbly.

    Another wine question

OK I bottled Tame Blackberry in April. First bottles we served were smooth and some of the best I have ever made. I have some bottles left that have been stored in my wine fridge at 55 degrees. Took a bottle to a party last night. When I uncorked it and poured it, it is fizzy. Still taste great...
