Just racked my pumpkin ale to secondary yesterday, I had about 4-5" of trub as well and lost quite a bit of beer to it. It tastes great, the pumpkin flavor is very subtle but I'm really happy with the color it imparted. I'm really excited to start drinking these this fall!

Usually two bottles per day during the week, 3-4 per day on the weekend. Gotta keep brewing or else I'll start going through withdrawals...

I'm a grad student at MSU living in the Lansing area. Reading threads here has really helped me out with my first few brews....I'm really starting to get addicted now. Hooray for the Red Salamander, they rock!
