    Brew pot

Hey guys, I have a carbon steel brew pot with a porcelain finish. Is this ok to brew in? I got it at target. I would have bought the stainless steel pot but they were out of giant ones. Its the type that looks black with white dots all over. Thanks!

    Im suddenly very confused...

Vanilla and Cinnamon – Not in the same beer

On Cinnamon: "...make sure you use cinnamon bark rather than powder because you can easily remove the sticks from the brew; cinnamon powder (unless filtered out) would remain in the beer and may create a harsh flavor and an unpleasant lingering mouthfeel." - Dummies Guide to Homebrewing...

    Saving used yeast?

Ive read alot of these threads and have from time to time come across someone saying that they save the pile of yeast off the bottom of their primary. Am I understanding this right? Can you actually save used yeast?? Is it, like, your own breed? If you can...how do you save it...
