Maybe bottom of the sack fines. I had a real slow run off my last batch also. Again same crush, but there seem to be a lot of fines at the bottom of my 2 row sack that may have got in.

Just finished up mine, with Walkers suggestions. 100k pot, 22uf cap, also added the .01uf cap and a diode Seems to be working fine. Will probably try it Sunday, once I get it installed it my control box. Thanks again for the help!!

I used the 3 component schematic. With the 2.2 cap

Any local sources for a 500k pot?? I have a circuit built and blinking away with resistors on it but ratshack only has up to 100k. I don't really want to pay $8 in shipping to get a .80 pot from mouser. I already looked for a guitar repair place in the area but nothing.

Mine continued with the blow off till last night. Now there is almost no activity. I pulled a gravity sample when I put the airlock on and it was at 1.024. So I'm sure it's just about finished

What about sparge water?? Do you treat that to? Your sparging with 5.5gal total. Because of the small grain bill I'm sure the ph is not changing much.

Did you check mash PH and for conversion? Sound like you have a mash problem. The corn may not be fully converting. My last batch I did the ph was a little high and it to 2hrs to covert fully
