I found the lumber at a local place around here that deals with sizes Home Depot/Lowes typically do not mess with. Timberland or something of the sort. The cost was more than I wanted to pay. It was a little over $150.

The wife and I did a 1 week cruise this past summer. It was cool, but I think staying in Alaska an additional week would have been better.

It's fun, but touring gets old quickly. If you ever want to jam and you're in the Phoenix area let me know.

Hence why I went with 2" thick oak (dense wood).

I prefer stouts and porters, but on occasion I enjoy a good IPA. It's something I have to be in the mood for. With that being typed I absolutely LOVE black IPAs. You get the bitter roastiness of the roasted grains and the maltiness that typically goes with stouts, but the hop bitterness...
