Can You Bottle From a Corny W/Out a Beer Gun

    And chill the bottle.

    Burner in doors

Most states (possibly all) it is illegal to store propane tanks (combustable gases) indoors (in the house or attached garages/carports/storage sheds). Not to mention your insurance will not cover damages if found, even if it isn't the cause. Much like them finding wiring not on the prints during...

    wort chiller?

Try checking your local plumming supply store. Avoid the major chains, they overcharge for what they buy cheaper than the smaller guys. They buy for far less than list, then turn around and mark it up from list price and sell it to you. I just bought 2 50' sections of 1/2" for $75.

    Primary Fermenter Question?

I've gone longer than a month in my plastic primaries a few times, maybe close to two on one. I haven't noticed any ill affects on those bottles over a year later.

    Iodophor Water temp?

cool water. Read the back of the bottle. It gives you instructions on temp, and strength to mix it.

    Irish Creme Syrup

You may want to add small ammounts at a time and taste. It would be pretty horrible to find out it's way to strong, or doesn't combine well with the beer and loose an entire batch. Some flavor may be driven off, but it's hard to say how much. Maybe grab a 1 gallon jug. Rack some off and try it...

Drop some tube knowledge on me...

Large beers with warmer fermentation temps and rapidly fermenting yeast. Most of the stouts I've done with dry yeast (usually Nottingham) have pushed krausen thru my airlocks, even popped the lid of one (thankfully the bucket handle was up, preventing the lid from flying, containing most of the...

    Burner in doors

Propane burning produces much more CO than Natural Gas. 23.5 cubic feet of air is required to burn 1 cubic foot of propane. MSDS sheet http://www.npga.org/files/public/Tech_Bulletin_NPGA_210-96.pdf some good safety info: if there is a propane fire, don't extinguish the flame untill the...

    lauter rakes

I forgot to convert that to see what it actually was. I had a smaller project that was planned for. I don't know if they have anything bigger.

    maple syrup

I'd think the process of making the syrup would have sterilized it, or at least sanitized it. Sam Addams tripple boc uses it. I picked up a half gallon of pure VT Maple last tome I was up there riding. Haven't settled on a recipe yet.

    Paintball 20 0z. & CO2 rip offs

If you've got a brand new tank, I'd sell it and rent the tank. One time cheap fee and exchange. If you have a rig you built to run off of paintball tanks, you can get a fill adapter and get a syphon tank to fill off of.

    lauter rakes

Check out Jemco, they have some gear head motors. P/N 176049 24V 340mA 1.8 RPM 6000g-cm torque $21.95 there are several options for power supplies. Open frame switching, regulated table top, unregulated table top. Plenty under $20

brass fittings in a converted cooler

I think an hour soak may be to long, but it depends on the part I guess. About 15 min was goood for me. If the mixture turns green, it means the peroxide is used up and the copper is being consumed by the vinigar exposing more lead. The piece is done when it is a buttery gold color.

    Shaken, not stirred?

Go with a larger pot on a burner outside if you can. Maybe just a larger pot still boiling the same volume so you don't boil over, or as much as you can while still getting a vigorous boil and not boiling over. A spray bottle of water and a little diligence untill you get the hot break (and...

    Fermenting too cold?

Well with your temps I'd give a lager a try, you don't even need any special set up.

    Break material?

If you boiled off more water than anticipated and made up the diffrence it would have brought you back to where you should have been. Your problem lies in your efficiency, or not enough grain for your lautering method. What was your pre boil gravity? Method? Recipe?

    Cheyco's CFC

Run hot vinigar thru it. Since it was an imersion chiller there really shouldn't be build-up in there. If the vinigar turns blue-green, run some new stuff thru there. Do this untill it runs clear. (a funnel and short piece of tubing helps) Or try the plumming supply store. Tell the guy/girl...

    The definitive aeration/oxygenation experiment

You're also supposed to get beter results (more o2 absorption) by having the o2 bubbles barely break the surface. By having a lower pressure and smaller bubbles, they stay in contact with the liquid longer allowing more to be absorbed. Also the vigorus bubbling at the surface knocks gas out of...

    Dirty Beer

Sounds like you racked a bit early. If nothing is setteling out, ou mat benifit from racking to another carboy and letting it sit for another week or two. Some heavier beers require a few weeks to ferment out depending on the yeast used. You can get away with leavinng the beer in the primary for...

    Corney Kegging Commerical Beer

Getting a log is the easiest thing to do. A lot of the smaller breweries are doing this now. Like someone already said, you'll need a sankie tap.
