Wow I feel like an idiot, I have been using one step for the last 5 years and never had an infection. I only just bought starsan because I started kegging . All those out there using one step as a sanitizer, I would say it works if I am any proof. Chris

How tight are they when you seal them. I had a batch that I needed to bend the metal clips so that it was quite difficult to close and my issues with swingtops stopped as well. Always make sure that the tops close tight otherwise you will just lose the co2 out the seal. Chris
