Fermentrack: Fermentation monitoring & BrewPi-www Replacement for Raspberry Pi

OK, good. I "found" codes that did not have the same syntax as what is in this, so I figured - better not poke the bear and end up inserting a backup SD card in to save the beer. thanks Thorrak! Edit - Yes, that worked ! - I changed my Beer Setting Color, so now I can see it better on the...

BruControl: Brewery control & automation software

@exoticatom Back to this Blog -- I use Fermentrack and BrewPi Remix, both automation software, here on Homebrewtalk, with great success. I have not coded/programmed since 1979 - COBOL, FORTRAN, RPG, Basic +...... LOL

BruControl: Brewery control & automation software

You got me thinking now.... I will take the really long cooling coil from the SS-14G and mount it on top of the BrewBuilt X3-14G and see if it will reach down deep enough for a 5-7 gallon batch. When the Hellez Lager is done in the X3 and the Strong Bitter is done in the Ss-14G...... I do...

Fermentrack: Fermentation monitoring & BrewPi-www Replacement for Raspberry Pi

Is there any way to get what beer name your fermenting under the Device Control panel, on the main GUI page? I often forget what beer is in the right or left conical, and what controller is running the script. I would then have to switch- "Select Device to Control" panel, to see the beer name...

TiltBridge - Tilt-to-WiFi Device for Tilt Hydrometer

@Thorrak I liked using the mini esp32 board with led screen, the screen size does not matter, since I use Fermentrack and look at my computer screen for the Tilt graph readouts. Also, the big TFT screen will crack very easily if it falls off your fermentor.... I know from experience  I...

Are there any cyclist in the group?

@Kent88 , I am relatively new to the sport. I was told by a Veteran Cyclist -" It's NOT how many miles, how fast, or what watts, you did on a ride. It Is - " Did You get anything out of it?" How true! Strava seems to be the place where you are "worried" that you did not ride like a Pro, but in...

BrewPi Remix – What’s Old is New Again

Just checking Wiki, since I did no know... could be a LOT older! The name Arduino comes from a café in Ivrea, Italy, where some of the project's founders used to meet. The bar was named after Arduin of Ivrea, who was the margrave of the March of Ivrea and King of Italy from 1002 to 1014.[4

Are there any cyclist in the group?

It is 7 days across flat Iowa Thats only 58 miles/day avg if you take all week.... If it was across a State not so boring, I would consider I'm not an Ultracyclist, but seriously even for a 65 year old man (me) that is not difficult Try this - RAAM - https://www.raamrace.org/ This is across all...

    Warm Fermented Lager Thread

I just brewed a Helles with E-30 and the Attenuation is shocking! Went from 1.046 and after 6 days at 56F, it is down to 1.005 (finish hydrometer). It is still blowing off slowly! I did slowly warm up to 62 day 5 and day 6. I used Fermentrack temperature control (here on HBT), for precise...

Fermentrack: Fermentation monitoring & BrewPi-www Replacement for Raspberry Pi

Just waiting for the Beta release, so I don't screw something up trying to update to 2...... Fermentrack has been running almost flawlessly for the past couple years with multiple fermentors going at the same time... I'm just afraid to change to Fermentrack2 and turn my Lager into a Steam Ale...
