    Mr Beer - Read all about it and ask questions

    I am getting ready to brew the St Patrick's Irish Stout w/ Creamy Brown - but wanted to order some higher quality yeast (rather than what comes w/ the kit). Does anyone have any suggestions? I prefer dry yeast, and have used safale before. Thanks!

    Separating 5 gallons into 2 Primaries?

    Thanks - Yeah, I agree with the fermenters being a major issue - And the yeast that comes w/ the standard kits isnt great. I dont use the spigot on Mr Beer at all...I siphon to bottling bucket, but the cap area does stink. Maybe I will just stick w/ smaller batches until I get some more space.

    1 or 2 gallon batches

    I am a relative noob...Have done a few batches using Mr. Beer kits & fermenting bucket. I want to start brewing again, but dont have the space for 5 gallon batches. I also recently got a 1 gallon carboy, which came with some useful equipment (siphon tube, cane, thermometer, hydrometer, etc)...
