i just looked its not that, i thought it might be a peace plant but the stalks dont look the same. it does have a white flower that blooms once a year i think, its been awhile since i seen it flower.

ok totally not beer related but I'm trying to figure out what plant I have in my office. We have had it since I started there in 1990. My cleaner was watering it every night and I thought died but I have some new shots popping up. Anyone know what type of plant this is?

hey that looks damn close to what mine looked like. i did notice when i steeped some grains it helped with head retention. not saying thats the answer, but worth a try and real easy to do. cheers

I had great success with the London fog strain, but i used Whitelabs. i did make a starter and pitched while it had a nice krausen on it. the OG was 1.066 and it got down to 1.008 good luck with it. cheers

that seems pretty high, what yeast are you using? also are you reading your sample at 68F?

no I didnt, but i did let it age for some time and it was clear.

can you cold crash it down to 31-32F for a week or two then check it, if it cleared rack to another keg or let it sit another week. good luck. cheers

well i only do 1-2 gallon batches and i put the fruit in first then purge the jug with Co2 then rack the mead. what fruit are you using? I have used blueberries and they went in no problem :) my sour beer i used cherries and needed to cut them in half to get them in the 5g carboy neck. i leave...

I only have done 2 gallon and i usually ferment in a 2.5g water jug after primary i transfer to 1 gallon glass. i fill it so there's only about an inch from the bung and purge the jugs with Co2. yeah i would add the honey and spring water mix, it might start another fermentation. cheers
