Dose anyone have anymore information on this nanobrewery? This is the first I have heard of it. I would love to get involved in something like that just to learn from some of these people.

What a fantastic idea!! Community Beer Works sounds like a dream for any brewer. I really hope they get through all the red tape a legislation because i think its a great plan.

Buffalo Tap Room is in my area and they have a decent selection of there own brews, but i have to admit i am not sure where there "house" brews come from. I dont beleive they brew on site.

There are alot of local brews that i enjoy from my area (north eastern breweries). Saranac, and Long Trail have some nice offerings. Saranac was my gateway drug into the world of Micro Brew when i was young so i have always help a special place in my beer fridge for them.

Its hard to deny Sam Adams Octoberfest its a really tasty beer and readily available pretty much anywhere with draft beer.

Coles has a great selection of micros on draft. One of my favorite places to go for good food and GREAT beer is Pizza Plant on Main or on Transit. Both have a fantastic selection on draft always rotating with a knowledgable bartender. Also no mixed drinks at their bars.

Tis the season for Octoberfests. I was excited to see when i visited my local beer supplier this weekend all the new seasonal micros had come in. All the Octoberfests and other "fall seasonals". So i wanted to take poll on everyones favorite Octoberfest and fall beers. Lets a get a good list...

Rt 5 looks like a pretty high end place i have never been but look foward to checking it out befor summers out. Pearl Street is always a great spot if you are in downtown Buffalo checking out a concert or game.

Niagara Traditional HomeBrew is the place to go in western New York, Buffalo area, also Buffalo Kegworks has a good selection of homebrewing supplies, equipment ect.

I have read a few articles lately about using 5.5 gal corny keg as a primary fermenter with a little modification. Dose anyone have any experience with this or have any advice or pros and cons? Let me know Thanks all.....
