    A different looking keezer

I just recently finished building my keezer and liked the simplicity of a collar but liked the style of a coffin style so I tried to make what I believe is the best of both worlds. The space between the bookcase and the keezer holds a 20# Co2 tank and 2 extra cornies. A huge thank you to all who...

    Ferm chamber heater

I have had great luck with a ceramic lamp for reptile cages. The best thing about them is they give of no light and just screw into a lampholder socket. Most pet stores carry them or they can easily be found on Ebay for a few dollars.

    Mr Blowoff

When I've needed to drill out a bung or other type of stopper I have always had good just using a drill press and turn up the speed as high as you can. Keezer side question

Bob, the top is going to be an edge grain Walnut & Ash butcher block (I'm tossing out the original lid) because you are so right those lids are flimsy. I plan to have the the collar hinged since I'm short & need all the help I can get. on the occasion that I will need to get inside the keezer...

    Keezer side question

You are correct. I am talking about a chest freezer, It can stick out into the room a bit that is no problem. As far as the compressor being exposed I planed to build a shell around it (that matches my cabinets) that could accommodate a different sized freezer in the future if/when this used one...
