I brewing a AHB California Common kit right now with San Fran Lager Yeast wlp810. I bought a yeast fuel capsule. Do I really need this? It says it speeds up fermentation. I'm not really in a hurry. Should I let nature take it's course or should I add this?

I usually soak my bottles in Oxi clean to clean them. I have a cooler filled with 15 gallons of the stuff. I'd like to drop my bottles in as I drink them. How long does the oxi last. Can it be used over and over?

Bottled my second batch 2 weeks ago a Midwest Bass ale clone (extract). I cracked one open today...nice. One more week and into the fridge for a few days. Looking good:rockin:

In NYC we have Beer/beverage distributors( a big store full of beer:rockin:). They collect empties also. I n NY it's a nickle deposit on the bottles. So I made a deal with the guy for ten cents a bottle. Just got two cases for $4.80. Look for some place who collects empties and make a deal.:mug:

I go to my local beer/beverage distributor. He charges me .10 a bottle. Returns are a nickle in NYC so he makes a nickle and I get cheap bottles. Go check out where ever you buy beer.

Can I proof it now or should I wait? I'm steeping the grains now. Still over 2 hrs before I pitch.
