What Sanitisers and Cleaners are used.

Since the San-Star mix is good for a while can I store stuff in it? Is it safe to keep stuff in it for long periods of time? any items/materials that would be bad? (the low pH concerns me a bit)

Is your beer more like Bud Light or Miller Lite?

Oh its on the list for sure! I had spent a lot of time in the Northwest, really got into good beer and coffee. :) 20+ years ago there weren't many commercially available good American beers, if any IMOHO)

Is your beer more like Bud Light or Miller Lite?

Even as a kid hang outside a store trying to get someone to buy me beer, I still went for the Beck's, Hinnie, Molsons, etc. Never liked the American beers much.

Its on sanitation: My kit came with beer-brite cleaner/sanitizer (yes, says both. Leaves me skeptical. But for a first brew figure its OK ) It needs a rinse and have a few gallons of boiled water cooling down now. But my idea is to have a pail of the stuff with items that fit soaking in it...

Not looking to make beer flavored whiskey ;) = just good tasting beer over alky content. I do need to find my 'tastes' and will post on the right forum here for suggestions. (wine has the same eclectic taste span) My school of thought is to do a type a few rounds for a consistent baseline...

    Lost Newbie

Well I can be picky on my beers (no snob or conesure (sp!), but like what I like) Footnote: Was in Portland Oregon with a so-called beer lover; he was ordering Coors Light (thats like going to Italy and eating at Mc Donald s) Had planned on a beer vacation visiting all the brew pubs of...
